Mugen

Mugen was created during the pandemic. A time when isolation became a static feeling among most people. In those quiet days, the work of live artists faded into the silence.

And so, Mugen was born: a generative music engine, designed to be livestreamed, inviting interaction through the online chat.

Mugen is an intricate Max/MSP patch, multiple of sound generators that play off one another, creating an endless soundscape. In live settings, its multichannel audio envelops the space, each sound traveling through the room.
